Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe.
Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all.
Locally, we provide services, resources and time to various needs. Some of these actions are listed here:
- Each month Rotary Club members volunteer at the Food Pantry of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church
- The Club provides a scholarship to a worthy Medina High School Senior each year
- Each year we donate books to a class at Wise Middle School
- Rotarians clean the bank of a designated stretch of the Erie Canal near Medina
- The Club provides funds to local non-profit organizations
- The Club also provides a needy family with a Thanksgiving dinner every year
- Rotarians ensure a needy family has a good Christmas by providing them with presents
