The guest speaker at Rotary’s meeting today was Alaina Zapf, President of the Friends of Medina Dog Park. Alaina told Rotary about her five year journey to get the dog park in place. Three different locations were discussed and new village laws needed to be enacted.
Future plans include adding trees for more shade and adding more exercise equipment in the back section.
The park is located next to the Village of Medina’s Compost Plant on North Gravel Road, just south of Boxwood Cemetery.
