Kaylee Lacey and Zachary Fike have been selected as the 2022 Medina Rotary Scholarship winners.
Kaylee was ranked #1 academically in the Medina High School Class of 2022. She carried a GPA of 4.0 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Among her other credits is MHS Student of the Month and she is a Presidential Scholar nominee.
In school, she participated in Marching Band, Varsity & JV Softball, and Varsity & JV Swimming.
Kaylee is especially interested in Science and English. Her anticipated college majors are pharmacy and biology, and wishes to have a career in pharmacy.
Zach Fike finished with a 95 grade average and is a member of the National Honor Society.
He was the FFA President from 2020-2022, FFA Treasurer in 2019-2020, played Varsity Baseball for six years, Varsity Soccer for three years, JV Soccer for two years, Modified Soccer for one year, Modified Basketball for two years, and Modified Bowling for one year.
Zach plans on majoring in Business at Niagara County Community College, followed by a major in Agronomy after NCCC.
His career goal is to own his own agronomy business.
