Exchange
Student Trip: On
Friday, December 27th, 16 exchange students from District 6330 had an
interesting excursion. They had a
tour of the State House, lunch at Schmidt’s Restaurant and then spent the
remainder of the day at Cosi (a science museum).
Ralph Waite, Bob Baisch, John Kanieski and Roger Cline (from Stow) went
along as the chaperones. Everyone
then returned to Carl & Sherry Abell’s “Once upon a Sundae” for a
potluck dinner. Carl and Sherry
provided ice cream after dinner (YUM!! THANKS CARL & SHERRY). After dinner, the students went off to various host families:
the Feron’s Hillebrand’s, Rentos’, Kanieski’s, McDonald’s, Waite’s
and Baisch’s.
Thank you to all who helped make this day a success for
the students.
Future trips for the students include
Washington/Gettysburg on April 10-13th (cost is $325 with the $175
deposit due on January 15th to Ralph Waite) and Florida on June 22-27th
